TurboDefrost is cool, b'c he's my little brother
hey guys.
My brother told me that this site kicks ass... so here I am to visit and hopefully get some news about auto-X and road racing. I'm turbonate, I've been working on turbocharging my '97 Nissan Maxima for quite some time now, but soon it will be done, and soon I will have POWA! for now I like to auto-x with Chuckanut Sports Car Club, and hopefully road race with NW Alfa-Romeo soon.

shutup nate you wish you were as cool as me.
he's the daaark green maxima w/ four round red tailights, nismo decal on the hood, and front splitter. don't believe him when he says he'll have his turbo done soon. he's been "working" on it for 2 YEARS!!! haha. but i guess when he finally gets done it'll be good. he's doing it on his own. i'll make him post some pics, or i'll find some myself.
And yes I'm doing it myself, the main reason it takes so long is that I'm on a limited budget, and when I do stuff I have to do it the best way possible. so, I could have gotten a kit, or done my turbo the easy way, but no, I decided to go with the biggest friggen turbo anybody's ever put on a maxima. and to top it off,... I wanted to build my own headers. but I think I got over that idea. that would mean moving fuel and coolant lines the the other side of the engine. and trying to make some three inch pipe fit through two of the exhaust runners out of my block.... its a long story, and a pain in the ass! it would be the trickest turbo ever though.... so you see my dilema.

it's a T04B exhaust housing with a 70 trim compressor. I think the copressor A/R is .84 but I'm not 100% sure anymore. I didn't write it down when I bought it, and that was a long time ago.
