E46 316i se newbie
Hiya im Tom im 22 and from Bristol
after a owening more cars in last 4 years than most people in there life i have decided on a 52 plate e46 316i se 1.8 facelift, 38000 miles and in great condition, love the car (got it last night, drove 12 miles and cam position sensor gave in so its currently back with garage having it replaced but that has not put me off lol)
I had a ford focus 1.8 tdci for last year or so which was a great car which had blufin installed (rolling roaded at 138 bhp and 232 lb/ft so pretty quick) last month gearbox went so i paid £1200 for a new one to be fitted (i usually do repairs myself but with work etc never had time) focus was great for 2 weeks then yesterday dual mass flywheel gave up so i traded it in against the bimmer.
bmw is not as quick as i was expecting it to be (no way near as quick as the old focus anyway) but im not into speed anyway i just like a nice comfy car.
will get some pics up tomorrow.
anything i need to know about these cars, any easy little mods that can be done to make it nippier etc
any info greatfully recieved
Tom

i know you are saying as in e36 316 1.6 but with mine being a 1.8 lol it is plenty quick enough for me, 115 bhp is good enough.
