Hi! From Pakistan...
I am almost a year old on this site but dont really post much. But now I am planning to be a bit active so I think I should better introduce myself to the fellow members. I am from Karachi, Pakistan. Maintenence is a bit expensive, as parts are almost 50% more then that of international prices and most importantly one need to do stuff DIY inorder to get the car running in perfect order. Except dealer there are only two mechanics who are specialized in german cars and they charge more or less like the dealer.
I drive an E36, 316i, M/T, 1992, Engine M40 with 120k kms. I am driving it since last two-three years.
I recently did some shopping for it which includes
New Brake Rotors/Pads/Sensors
Brake Cylinder
Timing Belt
15" Alloys/Tyres
Used Air-Conditioning Cooling Coil
Refurbished Power Steering Rack
Grill
Fog Lamps
Used Rear Lights
Battery
Custom-Made O2 Sensor
New Belts.
Clutch Master/Slave Cylinder
I will post the pics asap..
Thanks..
