Newbie

Hello everyone,
I'm totally new to all of this. But I figured I better start somewhere. I just bought my first bimmer last week. I bought a 96 328i and it needs a brake job. I was thinking about doing it myself, as I want this to be a type of project car. I've changed brakes of my 99VW beetle, but thats about it. Is it very difficult?

In addition, I want to make sure that i keep up with the maintenance, but is there anything that i should look out for? Thanks for any help that you guys can give!!

cgoode,

Welcome. Doing the brakes shouldn't be too bad, especially if you have done them on another car before you should have a similar setup I would think.

There is also this DIY that i did on an e30 but should be similar and probably not as comprehensive as Amanda's (mullet)
