Hi all
Hello Everyone. Im new to your forum and would like to say hello. Im from Lancashire in the UK. I have just ordered a 2004 525d Touring which I pick up Mon 3rd Sept, cant wait ! Many Thanks Vac |

Sharp looking car! I think the last (and perhaps first) time BMW had a diesel in the US market was with the 524td sedan, back in the mid-80s, and at that it was for only a year or so. Sure wish they'd bring 'em back, especially in the 1- and 3-series, I understand with the new technologies they are quiet, powerful, fast, and economical. |

Yeh This is pretty fast. 0-60 in 7.8 and 140mph top end. Thats plenty for me lol |

I like that a lot! Our first BMW was a 525tdi (back in france) man that thing was fast!....

Hi Vaconlaptop I was just searching the forums on this site for anyone who owns either a 525d or the Touring version as I am looking to purchase one very soon. Are you able to provide a quick review on how you have found the car, driving/maintenance/reliability...etc... Would love to hear what you think... Thanks Jay |
