Looking to learn something new.
I was a technician in the U.S. Navy and have worked on just about anything including gas turbine engines and am always looking for a challenge. I could not pass up a deal on a 1992 525i. It has minor problems that the previous owner allowed to accumulate. This is something new and interesting. Its has a 5 speed and is a pleasure to drive. I am a car guy and am currently working on restoring a 1967 RS/SS 350 4 speed Camaro. I have enjoyed the vast amount of information that is posted and has already been helpful. Thanks :drive2

Welcome E34 brother, re: your "Looking to learn something new" , pick yourself up the the Bentley manual - BMW 5 SERIES / Service manual. (I knew BMW techs who used this more than the micro-fishe back in the day.) It's the bible for E34s
