Fresh Bimmer Owner
Hi, everyone. I am new to BMW. I just purchased a 1986 L7. It is in great condition....and as soon as I figure out how, I'll put some photo's up. I do not do a lot of posting unless I have something constructive to add so you may only see me pop up now & then.........I'll be lurking & reading though.

**UPDATE** Damnit! The deal on the L7 fell through. I was excited to go pick it up & the guy shafted me. Long story short.....I won the car on ebay......called the seller several times, finally he called back & said "I can't get the car to start." I told him I would come help but he didn't want to give me directions. Finally, he said he still can't get the car to start after two days working on it. I told him to keep it, I'll find something else.
My theory: He didn't get as much for the car on ebay as he was expecting, so he decided to bail on the deal. SOB!
So, I bought a '97 328is Tuesday. I LOVE it. 5sp, 2dr, loaded, lots of fun to drive. All's well that ends well I guess.
I suppose I'll have to request a name cange from the mods now, huh?

I'll throw some pics up this evening...no time yet. This is my first Bimmer..........I do not think I'll ever go back. We'll see how I feel when the honeymoon is over.
E36 is still my faveorite body style. Simple and reserved with grace.
