what's up guys? I just traded my bagged 89 blazer for a 96 328is. black with tan interior. only problem is the water pump is busted, but dosn't seem like it will be too big of a deal. I also have a bagged 99 isuzu hombre that will be my daily for now. then it will be torn down to become a show peice once the bmw is driving. plans for the bimmer are black/polished lip 20's, clear corners(already ordered), and a nice headunit. and other than that I'm gonna drive the hell out of it and enjoy it
When you replace that water pump, get the one with the composite impeller. It'll last you longer than the metal one, and avoid the plastic impeller type at all costs. Also change out the thermostat while you're at it

cool, thanks for the heads up. I may be in trouble. tried to crank it today and sounds like it may have no compression. so I may have gotten ripped. I've read that head gaskets are fairly common problems on these. is it true? think that may be the problem? how bad are they to change? if nothing else I got a carbed 305 sitting in the garage just waiting to go in something
btw I'm a regular at s10forum.com if anyone else is over there, too. I got pics this morning I just need to upload them. I'll post up some of the truck I traded and the one I still have too
