Swarms of online shoppers armed with new iPods and iTunes gift cards apparently overwhelmed Apple's iTunes music store over the holiday, prompting error messages and slowdowns of 20 minutes or more for downloads of a single song.
My gf just got a Nano. She got it home and then it wouldnt work, so she returned it. She put a bunch of music on it on her comp and it worked for a while and now its not playing anything. Everything else works fine but the music wont play. So she wants to return it and get her money back

death, Tell her to try reseting it, http://www.apple.com/support/ipod/five_rs/ If that doesn't work try reformating it (restoring to factory settings) and putting the music back on. After that take it back.
