dam. I like the time machine thing. Just wonder if its password protected...somethigns u delete things you dont want certain others to see.

 thats the 1st thing I thought of when I saw them demo it at the confrence that they did the sneak peak. Other than that it looks pretty awsome. |

on a side note apple is just about the best marketed company i can think of...they know exactly when to release new products and how to advertise. It amazes me. Im sure i wouldnt have ever bought an apple if i wouldnt have seen all the advertising.

I wouldn't have bought an apple if someone didn't buy me the 1st gen iPod and I realized how kick ass it was and hoped everything else they made was as kick ass. |

that time machine must eat up disk space tho. . . and spaces looks like something from linux  but overall, kick ass!

I love spaces, i can't wait for that most of all. Windows is now 1/4 of a decade behind yet again!!!!!

Time Machine is definitely a killer app, and Spaces is almost identical to the workspaces available in Linux... But the biggest thing for me is the Core 2 Duo Intel chips...I know it's not a Leopard thing, but they are SO MUCH BETTER than the old PPC chips... I would buy a new Macbook Pro right now (thats what I plan on getting) EXCEPT for the fact that the Leopard update is due in the spring... If not for that, I'd already have one!! lol Oh well, I'll stick to my Ubuntu/XP dualboot for now... Still stoked though.. |
