Hola,
I just got a brand new Dell XPS 400 with:
3.0 Ghz 930 Intel Viiv Processor
320 GB hard drive
2 GB memory
windows XP media center
geForce video card
dual layer dvd-rw and dvd-rom
all the other shenanigans except a tv tuner
now, my question is....
it has an s-video output and a dvi output. i want to hook it up to my Sharp XR-1S projector via my Pioneer VSX-something reciever. is this just a plug and play deal? or do i need more drivers? i can't connect my projector because i left the power cord in my dorm room (or as i like to call it "the death star"), so i can't test it, nor do i have another thing i can test it on
what is everyone's thoughts?

Sorry, I've always had a preference for Apple. After the ZX Spectrum, an Apple IIC was my first computer, which then evolved into a Macintosh.
Great computers.
Popularity doesn't make something good.
k cool.
so ur not one of the now average mac users.

Um, well it works for me... most of the times. The motherboard on this piece is really, really bad. It'll crash if you plug in any external hard drive to a USB, rendering all USB's inactive for however long it feels like doing it. No keyboard, no mouse... no computer. It's out of warranty. If you ever buy a Dell, get the longest warranty you can get your hands on. It'll be worth it.
As for Mac... I don't have anything against them, but I've grown up with PCs. I refuse to switch. I'm stubborn.

Thank you. I'm stubborn too. I like PCs better. I'll stick with a laptop. Thanks for the review and inputs about your tower.
