Think im buying an Imac...suggestions?

Ok i want to get the new imac. 2 ghz, with intel chip, 2 gigs ram, 256 card, 20 inch monitor, superdrive..etc.
comes out to about $2000.

So has anyone tried the windows and mac os thing on the new intel chipsets?
My friend said it was awesome but i want another opinion.

so what u guys think?
btw im getting rid of the pc cause its slow and honestly i just need to reward myself with something...so this might be it. Dont tell me to buy shit for my car either...not worth it.

anyway. whats ur opinion on the computer? Anyone have one?

A great puter. IMO you are likely to use the OS X partition more and more :type

^^^ tru.dat

there is no compelling reason to use windows anymore. except for gaming. and thats becoming a null factor. . .

gaming is the only reason i still have windows running. . .

I just loaded xp on my macbook for work and it works very well.

xp took like ten minutes on my roomates macook pro

its really easy.

and like everyone else said, you'll get to the point where the only time you use xp is for half life 2 :)

If you wanna run xp you need an Intel Mac, like Macbook to dual boot

Purchasing tomarow.
20inch. 2gigs ram. 256 video card. 500gb hard drive. and everythign else included in the Imac bundle. Then ima get a 60gig ipod next to it. all for $2572.00-the $127 rebate check i get for the college student deal.

Good stuff. cant wait to pick it up. Hopefully we are there when my $2500 dollar package arrives at our vacant house.

btw im shipping it to oregon cause then i pay no sales tax. OR ftw.

Imac FTW

So i got the Imac.

Also got a 60 gig ipod, cause my 20 gig didnt support my crazy music habbit, and i got sick of having to flter through my music to fit only 20 gigs of my 50 gigs to fit on the smaller ipod.

This imac is amazing. No lag..at all. Things just load.

well..i cant upload pictures for some reason. Blinkfile is going way to slow and image shack also. ?!
