thanks man, yeah I mean I have been leaving it on for multiple days recently, then turning it off for a few hrs whereas during the school year it was off every night, not left on overnight.
if ur cpu is overheating it will freeze and sometimes randomly restart, and i do know that if it gets too hot, unless its disabled, the comp will just turn off

When you reboot go into the bios and look at pc health or something similar and see what the settings are. If it doesn't have settings for cpu temp or fan speed it would have to be something else.
those settings and readings should give you a rough idea of what is going on.
