Anybody can slove this problem?
Last year , i've sent the desktop PC to the shop to for upgrades from Windows ME to XP pro.It works fine but the problem is :SLOW....even after deleteting the spywares and adwares.... BTW the desktop is running on P4,128 MB RAM, 30GB space.So how can i boost up the speed of the desktop? zeaq,

you can start by adding more ram, i have 512 mb, that will prolly speed it up for ya

256mb would be an improvemnt, 512 at the minimum. My computer has a gig and a half of ram, which works quite nicely

On some comps u can only upgrade it so much... Plus u need to know if u need pci 100 rams or others...

What type of motherboard do you have? Any idea? And also how much would it cost to ship something small from the states to you? I'm not thinking TOO much. Worst case I could buy some ram here cheap and ship it to you, if we're sure it'd work.... haha

Not sure tho.....The desktop is locally asssemble here.But anywheres i'll bring it to the shop next month to check and change it there.Thanks Komodo, i appreciate your help.I rather change it here since there's warranty etc etc..  zeaq,
