Dvd Writer problems
Ok so on my cd burner it says hp dvd writer. cd writer combo. Anyways, when i stick a dvd-r into it it wont read it, says please insert a drive into drive f.
Im pretty sure it works, it works with regular cds, but not these, help?!
Not to insult your intelligence, but first make sure the disc surface is clean.
The disc may have been burned using a file structure that Windows doesn't recognize, possibly a Mac specific standard? Or maybe it was burned using either a weak DVD burner or a low quality DVD-R, in either case the burnt in "pits" aren't reading correctly. Or is your HP writer a DVD+R? Just throwing some things out there, I dunno.
