Burning from a CD
My dad wants me to complile two CD's into one using select songs. The CD's that he gave me were burned from another CD. So when I use explore to access the files, I get 1KB tracks. Now of course I know they aren't the actual files, more like pointers, but I just don't remember how to access the real files. Anyone know?
Thanks,
Dough

How annoying. I could pop the CD in and iTunes will come on and show me the track list. A custom CD with selected tracks from the 2 CDs would have been burned by now. Know anyone with a Mac?
What version of windows are you using? XP has built-in cd burning, but I'm thinking that might be for data cds only.
Actually, I hate to admit it, but itunes does a good job. At www.itunes.com you can download it for free, and it's very easy to make music CDs... literally drag and drop, then click burn.

Damn Komodo, this Ipod shit really does the trick. It's "burning" the tracks to my hard drive. I know you mentioned it as well Whiteshark, but I wasn't aware it was a PC program.. what do I know, I'm just a total n00b in this.
Thanks guys

I love iTunes... try that like Harry said.. That is weird though, there has to be something wrong with the CD. Any software should work. Nero is supposed to be the all around best burning sotware. iTunes is way easy though.
