Burning from a CD - Page 2 - United Bimmer Community

Well, either I couldn't figure it out or Nero just blew. That Itunes program is difficult to get the songs in the order that you want them in, but otherwise is reletivly simple. I'm just wondering if what I burned off of that program will play in my dad's car....

Hey Dough, you can download for free "Itunes" from Apple for your PC and it will perform as "Wite" said. Drop in your disc(s), click on tracks you want, arrange them in the order you want then burn. It's simple to arrange the song list - if you need to move a track-select the track. click & hold and move your mouse to the position you want it in.

Yea I tried that click and hold manuver, but it didn't work, the program kept on putting the list in alphabetical order.

What I did instead was to rename the files 1, 2, 3... in the order that i wanted and it worked out ok.

with nero what I did, was put the cd in and send the tracks that I wanted to a new folder, then do that for the second disc, open up nero and all the songs will be in that one folder.

And btw nero does suck with cda, good with making audio cd's with mp3's, I always rip the songs to mp3 and make cd's from mp3's

Next time create a new playlist & drag the songs you want in the order you want & they'll show & record in that order.
