Video Card Install Problem
 

I have a 64 MB vid card, upgraded it to a 128, and after i plug the new one in and restart the comp, my screen goes blank and nothing happens. Can anyone tell me why?

Have you checked if the upgrade is compatible with the system side bus and mother board?

well its done, i had to hook up my monitor directly to the video card, then go to bios, and change it from boot from pci to boot from agp, then go to device manager and install the drivers and enable them, DOD IS AWSOME WIT IT, this thread can be deleted now. thanks white shark for help .

Yeah, I was going to say hit F10 or F2 to change the settings.

yeah I forgot that when a friend of mine put in a cideo card a while ago, you have to plug the monitor into the video card, he didnt realize that and almost paid like $50 to go to best buy haha
