Napster file protection
 

any one know how to remove the file protection from the Napster files you download.

I want to convet my Napster files (protected WMA's) to MP3's

I had used Winamp and a plug-in (output stacker) to convert the Napters WMA's into unprotected WMA's and then a generic format converter to make the unprotected WMA's, MP3's

now wimamp wont play my Napster WMA's anymore :mad :mad

anyone know of any other program/steps that i can do to convert the files?


(and i believe this is within the legal bounds)

Hum, I know there's a way to convert protected itunes music to unprotected mp3's... but I'm not sure about napster. ChrisWorrell uses Napster heavily, so I'll ask him if he knows.

To convert itunes songs I use a program called JHymn. Just search google for a link.
