Need Mac Help
so since i completely wiped and rebuilt the hard drive in my powerbook G4, i've had really flaky internet. I'll be sitting in the university library with a perfect connection and it'll go out for like five minutes and then come back on. And its only my machine, the guy next to me has a perfect connection all the time. Same thing happens with an ethernet cable, as with the 108 g Belkin Wireless I have in my room. Why the hell is it doing this? Same thing happens at home to, but its ONLY my machine. Running network diagnostics when its down just says that i'm not connected to the internet in any way. |

Finder > Applications > Utilities > Disk Utility > highlight the drive name (second line of the 2 in the window pane to the left) and click repair permissions If no result, restart in single user terminal (restart, hold Apple S) and in the terminal type /sbin/fsck -fy until the ***file system changed*** message STOPS showing |
