mac website problems....
 

ok so i got osx on my laptop and on the mac mini. I want to access this sites video stuff. it works fine with the pc buit not with osx.

The site is TV2.hu and u clck videos(its in hungarian) and then tenyek(news). The mac says cant open specified file. I was wondering what plug in or codec i need to download to get it to work.


help...pm if u got any ideas or have trouble with the site.

Is it Windows media player that works on the pc? Cause there is that player for Mac, though I have heard of problems installing it

no it plays through the website.
I downloaded and installed Windows media player. That didnt work. I tried to play the url via the media player. That didnt work. Then i tried the same with quicktime, didnt work.

You seem to need to try a different browser. Firefox?

i tried firefox and explorer.

The website renders fine on my Mac in Safari. What file are you trying to open? :type

after u copen the website, on the left there is a tool bar which if u put the cursr over it a list comes out. So put the mouse on "Videok" and go to the bottom of the list to "tenyek". Click on that.
a new window comes up
then hit ok(talks about how u should use interent explorer..but i use firefox on the pc and it works fine.) then the video player comes up on the new winow and then i get the error.
