My keyboard has a standby button. When u shutoff your computer assuming, you have windows xp, can't you just click on standby zeag? as in start menu/turn off computer, then click standby.
Oh, that's a very easy fix. You don't need to send it off to get formatted! haha
Your video card driver got corrupted somehow, and that's causing the jerky scrolling. Go into Device Manager and right click on your video card driver and click uninstall. Then hit the refresh button and install new drivers from the cd or internet.
I'm not sure how computer literate you are, so if those directions are too vague let me know and I'll be more specific (with screen shots if needed).

I did go to device manager and can't find the video card driver but i saw this "video Controller"Is that it?
Give me the link of the free driver from the net.
2nd pic attach is the shut down as you see the Stand BY button is not functional, how to activate that??
What video card do you have? Go into display and over to settings, it should tell you what card you have. Then you can download the latest from their website. Not sure why standby doesnt work though, maybe the drivers will help that too.
