who does it? and what all do you need to buy? obviously an ethernet cable.. but do i need some thing else to plug into my playstation? do you have to pay to get the subscription like xbox or what?
You have to buy the modem which goes in the big hole in the back of your PS2, and all you do is hook it up to your phone jack or LAN cable, and go no subscription required, and of course if you want a headset you can buy one, and thats about it

^^ that's pretty much it, but if you get the ethernet adapter, you can use it to hook a hard drive up to the ps2 and just copy games to it, ala hdadvance
