I actually had a 33MHz (thirty-three) for years setup on freebsd that ran as a firewall routing my network traffic for a 100mb network, and my mail server. It was running on a 100MB hard drive without a screen and ran flawlessly for years without a problem. I'd love to see a Redmound product do that. Pwnt. haha
When I was doing contract service on Novell systems for Y2K I found a server that had been running for almost 4 years.
Services had been added and started that had never been recorded in the logs and the admin box was an old Windows 3.1 hidden in a back office. But still running!
