^haha, well the ending was especially sweet if you knew the story line. i got it thursday, played for half and hour or so, and then played for 4 or 5 hours on friday and beat it. i thought the ending was perfect. at first i was really upset because...well, i don't want to spoil it. i was upset because of what you think happens at the end, but then i got used to the idea and labeled it as cathartic. then i waited till after the credits and the scene after the credits made the whole cathartic feeling went away, so i concluded that it was just all around amazing.

Damnit I missed the scene after the credits. guess i need to go replay the last stage of the last level again. ... Meh, Florida's losing to auburn, i'll do it later.

^ha, so are you a florida or auburn fan? if you don't want to replay it, you could always just look it up on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=waasn-zhpZg plus that video shows the extra 5-10 seconds that you get if you beat it on legendary. obviously, if any of you don't want a spoiler, then don't watch that video.

saw someone playing it at a friends house for like 30 seconds today. looks pretty cool. a lot more complicated from what i saw, but still cool! i still love playing halo1 on the computer whenever i have nothing to do... (which is like never)
