+2 I use it all the time Especially on my mac. I also use GomPlayer it does about the same as VLC except it can play dvd .ifo files and it has a frame by frame function which I find comes in handy time to time. I have a computer hooked up to my HDTV and they both doo a good job of making the Ferrari Factory look oh so sweet in HD.

iv been using VLC on my mac for a long time. freakin amazing. half the time my WMP or quick time cant play soming, so i play it in VLC. works every time.
