Its gonna be expensive to build a note book but good luck. Its cheap just to buy a dell, or vaio I have a dell and it is good for now but when i start college next year I am going to sell and get an I book because its smaller.

Running OS X, IMO they rock. Not a great gamer, but very secure

^^^ a macbook pro can handle the duties of a gamer tho

unfortunately, it would have to be with winblows. . . boot camp to the rescue.

i was thinking about getting a new laptop for the semester. i was thinkin a macbook or a macbook pro or an asus with an nvidia go and a C2D so i can run ubuntu with compiz!

apples lappys are pretty nice, but lack some features i would like, like a card reader. but that by no means takes it out of the running in my book.
