so..i know there are alot of engineering students around here..meaning your good at math.
I havent had math in to years, and im a bit rusty.
I want to know how to solve this algebraically. I was thinking i could factor it..but to no avail. I tried spliting it into two sections and the factoring...still nothing.
so....
(2x^5)-(3x^4)-4x+6=0
carrot meaning to the power of.
I know the ansers are ~-1.189 and 1.5 according to my graph created by the calculator.
so...help?

Meaning that the answers, by setting (2x-3) and (x^4-2) equal to zero, would be exactly 3/2... or 1.5 if you like decimals... and 2^(1/4). i.e. the forth root of 2, which makes it to be about 1.1892071150027.
