lol...sort of...blew that rad while out tuning the other night so just waiting for all my new cooling components
You blew the radiator? Are you sure yoru system isn't getting pressurized. Did you torque down the head well enough? Check yyour upper raditor hose to see if it's getting very hard for extended periods fo time.

lol...not exactly blown....the plastic endtanks cracked and finally broke completely...it had been leaking from there ever since i started it up again, it was the original rad, i think it just finally gave in. but yes i do need to retorque the head studs which i will do b4 it is started up again. no sign of oil or anything in the coolant.

Its Mother F----ing fast!!! i was holding on for dear life. It was like the amusement ride "drop off doom" when you hold on so hard that you want to scream ( luckily i held it in, and retained my manliness and almost certain embaressment)
I also raced him from a roll in my E30 m3. we were even untill he hit third gear. How you ask? well, the roads were wet and it was 0 degrees celcius outside and he couldnt get any traction with the summer tires (untill ~100KM/HR) . I , on the other hand had it floored and NOT spinning, then he hiT some dry pavement and took off. IT was like he was shot out of a canon!!! instantly he was 3 cars ahead of me. at what? 10psi only? Byron your car is f___ing nuts!! i love it!!!

hhaha, thanks mat, it is pretty quick. just need some drier and warmer roads which will hopefully help with traction a little. i guess its now in good enough working order that i could post some pics and take some video for you guys.
the e30 m3 is no slouch and i took off on this thing like it was standing still once i had traction by 140 kmh, which came almost instantly it seemed, the m3 seemed like it was maybe 10 cars back...maybe i am being optimistic but i didnt look too hard when i was doing almost 2.5 times the speed limit
keep in mind this is just with the base map i got with the tec3 and some slight changes i made to the fuel delivery to improve the a/f a bit.....very very conservative timing and running off the .7 bar waste gate spring which is just shy of 10psi...my guess is this is still well over 300whp when all said and done i hope to have my high boost setting at 14 psi and approx 440whp.
its getting closer and closer to being done...fixed the coolant leaks when i overhauled the cooling system but it still leaks oil everywhere also just replaced the battery as the old one was toast and couldnt hold a charge, still need to replace the alternator, swap in my uuc ceramettalic m5 clutch with steel flywheel, install new motor mounts and tranny bushings, ss brake lines, make a gauge pod to hold the ones where the obc used to be, and most importantly get it tuned!...its been one thing after another but in the end it will be worth every bit of time and money i have put into it
