Cream color... Eww haha. I've never been a fan but I want to see it. Should look good. Find out of it has the M52 engine in it.

The interior actually looks really nice. Car drives beautifully and very very smooth indeed. Has a couple of very minor niggles that will give me something to fix - i.e. the cup holders that are in the console in front of the gear stick - sorry gear shift well teh right hand one won't stay "locked in" ..... give me a quiet hour and I reckon I'll have that sorted. I have ALREADY ordered and paid for Xenon HID's that are CanBus compliant and chrome rings for the gauges because I LOVE them. Will also get a K&N cartridge filter, M5 Mirrors and M5 style LED tail lights........ would like to have purchased them before I get the car so I don't have too much of a wait for them when I do get the car...... Just tossing up whether to get the auto fold mirrors or manual fold. I don't think this model has the electric auto-fold "button" and will need to investigate further before I decide which ones to get. OR...... I just get the auto-fold and find and fit the "button" that triggers it..... I am very comfortable with electrics.

Well I have taken delivery. I obviously had a brain fart when I described the interior as the interior is in fact BLACK leather with walnut trim. Someone has done some work to it as it has the M-Sport steering wheel and M-Sport door sill trim, as well as what appears to be an M-Sport spoiler at the rear !!

I have put on 17" Style 42 Wheels and have ordered some M-Sport auto-fold mirrors and will be doing the LED HALO / Clear Corner / HID conversion to the headlights. All parts have been ordered, some have arrived Effectively I will be putting in E39 "Facelift" headlights, but without the expense.

Still have LOTS of things planned, such as changing the tail lights for M5 style tail lights and also changing the stock Radio / Cassette unit for something a little more modern and upmarket, but still very BMW. That will have to wait awhile though as I have already spend large amounts of $$$$ getting the parts I have and also paying Government transfer fees to get the car into my name !!

There will be some playing around with the car on Saturday though - have a few little jobs lined up to keep me busy - like fitting the chrome gauge rings and the LED HALO's that have arrived. Will also need to replace the windscreen washer tubing as the old tubing is so brittle it cracked and fell to pieces when I went to investigate why washers weren't working. Yes, sure, under the second hand dealer's warranty I could get them to replace it - but that puts the car off the road for a couple of days and I am more than capable of replacing some tubing.......... (Having said that, I add the caveat "I hope....")

Photos will be taken this weekend when I have some time and light..... stay tuned
