i personally wouldn't do racing seats, unless i realllllllllly needed them. but even if i did, i'd leave the three point buckles there for date nights and remove the 5 point harness for comfort.

Would you consider a Hamann Wide body?

Sorry guys, I didn't read the whole thread because I'm in class but...

You can't turbo an e46 because of the exhaust manifold. Too much custom work is required.

Go w/ the SC.

i dont think anybody has ever turbo's an e46 m3. no companies make kits because so much is required to make it work. the only FI option for e46 m3's is supercharging. i saw i vid of one with ICS tuning that was making almost 450 rwhp. as sweet as a turbo e46 m3 would be it is not going to happen soon. if anybody could do it, it would be ICS ics

Like the Hamann wide body kit, without the rear wing.

If you have the cash, why not supercharge it with Dinan? Would you get more performance from AA? I think their supercharger is 20K. You would keep the factory warranty also. Just some thoughts. No household name demands as much respect as Dinan, especially supercharged.

Here is the info.

S3 Package-Supercharged Manual M3 Coupe (Koni)
Dinan Signature Series

Part #:

Price:
SE46-M3S3
$20222.00

Labor Units: 530.0
Emission Status: 49 State Emission Legal
List of Included Items: M3 Supercharger System; Free Flow Exhaust; High Flow Throttle Bodies; Strut and Shock Tower Braces; Stage 3 Suspension System (Koni); 3.91 Limited Slip Differential; Signature Series Floor Mats; Serial Numbered Dinan S3-M3 Plaque; Dinan Deck Lid Badge.
Peak Horsepower: 423 @ 7900 rpm
Peak Torque: 313 lb/ft @ 5500 rpm
Point Value: 10

The supercharged Dinan S3-M3 provides the extra dose of power, serious handling capabilites and pure driving excitement that experienced drivers lust after, while at the same time offering those who are honing their driving skills with confidence inspiring performance. And as if the S3-M3's performance isn't compelling enough, the package is backed by the most comprehensive warranty available, matching the new car warranty coverage for up to 4 years or 50,000 miles; so you're covered by BMW and Dinan, year to year, mile to mile and bumper to bumper. With 423 horsepower and 313 lb/ft of torque under the hood, combined with shorter gearing and phenomenal handling capabilites, the Dinan S3-M3 will more than satisfy the most demanding drivers.

In typical Dinan fashion, the much-anticipated Dinan M3 Supercharger System delivers unparalleled acceleration, everyday drivability and the reliability enthusiasts have come to expect of a Dinan-tuned BMW. Countless hours of development, refinement and testing have resulted in a sophisticated forced induction system that enables the M3 to reliably and consistently produce 423 horsepower and 313 lb/ft torque for acceleration that is nothing short of breathtaking. Close attention to detail and the highest quality materials ensure that the fit and finish of the system are as impressive as the performance.

Dinan’s 26 years of experience with BMW forced induction systems is evident in every aspect of the M3 Supercharger System. From the efficient and reliable Vortech gear-driven supercharger to the custom racing-style aluminum radiator and extensively re-calibrated engine management, the system offers performance and drivability that is simply unequaled.

Supercharger System Features:
Vortech Gear-Driven Supercharger (4.6 psi Boost Pressure)
CNC Aluminum and Steel Mounting Brackets
High Flow Cold Air Intake
Larger Capacity Fuel Injectors
Automatic Belt Tensioner
Racing-Style Aluminum Radiator (35% capacity increase)
Comprehensive Engine Management System Calibration
Matching New Car Warranty Coverage (up to 4 years/50,000 miles) or 2 years/Unlimited Mileage

“Buy a Dinan car and you get a factory warranty along with pavement-scorching performance-something to think about before bolting on that acme blower…”
-european car

A number of optional performance enhancements are also available for use in conjunction with the S3 program, not the least of which being the large tire and wheel package. The 19x9.5 and 19x10 inch wheels are extremely lightweight and provide the ability to fit the car with 275/30-19 tires up front and 285/30-19s in the rear for phenomenal grip and a dramatic reduction of understeer for crisp and predictable turn-in.

And with 423 horsepower propelling the M3, it is certainly worth considering additional stopping power, particularly if you participate in track events. The Dinan performance brakes by Brembo have been specifically designed for optimum performance in combination with the Dinan suspension systems and tire/wheel package.

The S3 program takes the overall performance of the M3 to a much higher level, while maintaining the civility and reliability expected of a Dinan-tuned BMW.

Dinan makes quality parts, but they are extremely over priced.. is another 8 grand really worth keeping the warranty for 2 more years?

Actually maybe it is lol, i would hate to see that thin blow itself up and then youd be stuck with a trashed M.

Anyways.. AMAZING car, the headlights look amazing, the brakes look amazing, the wheels, everything. Nice job man.. pretty tasteful mods.

AA is defintely a great way to go, but considering you have a new car I would highly recomend the new Dinan Supercharger. They recently released it in their new e46 M3 car, the S3 M3. It is about the same price as AA. I understand how great AA's customer service and instllation is, but there are other companies that can install great products just as well as them.

ESS also probably makes a supercharger for you, although I just dont know much about their systems right now.

I think it's what you are looking for while also maintaing the factory warranty and on top of that, if BMW wants to be a bi**h about it, Dinan also backs up the car with a warranty for the same time period as the manufacturers warranty.

And fuck KO performance, youll get shit customer service while only savign maybe $500 on a system that demands pure service. I dont care what kind of hookups you have there Rooz, their website sucks and is very uninformative.

Now what i want to know is how you get 387 horsepower (wheel or crank) with just a CAI and exhaust. I think it's time you update your mod list.
