Exclamation Boosting an M42

I want to boost my 318is. I was told that a TD04 turbo would be the better choice with a 10-1 compression. I need to know if anybody sells a manifold for the engine, or if I need to weld one up. Also, what size injectors do I need and do I need to upgrade my fuelpump?

I hope anybody can help.

Thanks

try looking for 666fabrication.com or similar I think they might have something set up for an m42 at least in an e30 setup. A supercharger might be easier on the m42, that said boosting can be done.

Downing Atlanta is probably the most common for superchargers in m42s. Contact them and ask them some questions.

Downing Atlanta would be the way to go. Its a great kit thats simple to upgrade. Over on Bf.c there's a member with about 238 whp at 15lbs on stock internals. They have great potential.
