iphone 4 - United Bimmer Community

Hello all
I have a 2007 335i with a snap on adapter for a nokia 6230i I do not have a USB I only have a Aux connection I now have an iphone 4 and need to play music through the phone the phone works using bluetooth.
What do I need to get to have full control on the stearing controls can anyone help.

Depends entirely on the compatibility of the car's on board system (which would be crica 2006 technology vs the 2010 iphone technology). I'd check with your dealer about it. I had to do it on a number of late model high end VW's and they have 3 possible systems (on the same model car), your phone would work with some but not others. It just depends on the protocols and might require one of their techs calling the factory tech line.

Either via BMW dealer and very expensive or aftermarket interface with bluetooth feature much less expensive.
