2005 325i over heating problem
Can anyone help me i'm having and overheating problem i just replaced the expansion tank because it broke. I think it exploted not sure just know it was cracked from the top to bottom. I removed it and replaced it with a new one and refilled the coolant at first it the car warmed up till the middle mark like always i drove it around for a while and then it started to over heat i popped the hood and there seemed to be liquid on a hose but im not sure whats making it overheat anyone got any ideas? Oh and when its overheated it doesnt turn on sucks i hate being without her. |

It's a good thing that it won't start when it overheats. Driving a car while it is overheating can cause irreparable damage. If your expansion tank has cracked I would recommend replacing the entire cooling system. All the components in the system use the same plastic as the expansion tank and when one piece goes the rest are sure to follow. |
