got an interesting problem

2001 325xi, turn the turn signal on, turn the steering wheel in that direction, dont hear a 1st click, then when you come to turn it back the turn signal doesnt turn off by itself, you have to turn it off, anyone know what part that can be replaced in order to fix this?

I thought there was a gear in there that caught a tooth on the turn signal that pulled it off?

also I believe it's the cancel switch pin you're after but I'd check w/a BMW tech on this one for a definite answer.

My sis has the same problem on her 1984 318i.

xseprf, When you find out what causes it, will you let me know, so I can fix it?

for the knowledge, and for mullethunter, i called the dealer, the guy said that it has to be one of two pieces, either the actual stock($91.XX) or the switch inside the steering column($120.XX)
