I got this piece at a little over 52k mi. What I put into it was from that point forward, blame me for whatever wasn't done to code, not that I could afford the LIST that the dealer would give me everytime I went there.

Do thank your friend for me for checking it out, not that it matters for me at this point, I already own it, .

Is there anyway I could get that list that your friend pulled up (for curiosity's sake)? And if I could, is there a translation of what each code means?

Dough I'll have to keep you posted, I'm en-route to Fla (Rolex - yEA) but I'll be seeing Doug there. I e-mailed him asking for a copy but some of this stuff he's accessing is pretty confidential stuff through BMW and they can be pretty weird about giving it out. I'll get more details for you and let you know.

Well in that case, never mind, I don't want to get your friend into trouble as it really isn't worth it for my curiosity. But again, tell Doug thank you for the look-up.

I recently bought a 330i with about 98k miles on it. I got a steal on the car because of some scratches and the miles (its an 01). I am confident the dealer changed the fluids and the car runs well 30 days in. I plan on taking it to a BMW specialist, any filter changes or belts (ie timing) that I should be concerned with that the dealer (a non BMW Dealer) may not have done. If so I can tell the specialist to check?

Also front brake rotors and pads look good, rears have a little wear, although I hear a slight grind when backing up. Any thoughts would be helpful. The car appears to have a cabin filter, when should that be changed?

Thanks
