GTR Strut Tower Brace.

Increase your chassis rigidity with Racing Dynamics' new GTR Strut Tower Brace. The new GTR design is 340% stiffer than the older version, and is 60% more rigid than any other brace available on the market.

The ErgalŽ web structure was optimised using Finite Element Analysis software and is so strong that it can support the weight of 2˝ 3 series without deforming.

The GTR Strut Brace has no pivot points and features mounting points for the remote reservoir of the coilover suspension System.

Available in Titanium Grey with enameled crest.

This thing sells for $840 :jawdrop

DEATH2000 10-19-2006 05:04 PM

Yes, maybe. But probably only under static compression load lengthwise, and not counting the full assembly, just the main bar. Just like the boom on a crane. Very misleading. It probably costs them less than 50 bucks to make on a water jet cutter.

Rooz 10-19-2006 07:01 PM

Am not saying it's a bad bar... just can't justify $840 for it :lol

no fricken joke man.

I know BMW's M strut bars are really good and also non-pivot, and cost a fraction of this.

RSF5 10-19-2006 08:58 PM

Cartony 10-19-2006 09:06 PM

holy man, my last beater cost me $700 and I drove it for a year and a half. But hey can you imagine the handling though.

cainchapman 10-19-2006 09:38 PM

It's a Racing Dynamics Strut brace.

Looks to be pretty well designed. None of the normal flex points, but modular design to get it to fit.

xsperf 10-19-2006 10:57 PM

i heard those dont do much, but sway bars will make a hell of a difference, and just like dudesky says, think about it, it probably costs near nothing to make

dinanM6 10-20-2006 02:49 AM
