2005 325i Bluetooth With Sprint's 700wx
Using '700wx' or '700w' as search terms didnt yield anything this morning, so a fresh post it is.
I have a Sprint Treo 700wx that will pair with my 2005 325i, but is less than stable. It will sometimes answer successfully with the steering wheel controls, and sometimes not (the phone keeps ringing through the vehicle's audio).
The phonebook will load, but the entries have extra digits and are unusuable. For example, the voicemail entry comes through as xxx-*xxx where x is a legitimate number and * is the asterisk. These entries clearly wont dial.
My previous phone, a Sprint Treo 650, worked perfectly once its firmware was at a certain level, so it stands to reason the 700wx is the cause of this issue. That said, has anyone had any success with this phone and an E46? |

your problem is not the phone itself. its the OS! you ditched Palm OS for Windows Mobile! ahhh!

Fair enough, but Id still like to hear other's accounts of using this device with their E46's.
For 99% of the functionality, I much prefer WM05; resolution of this and one other issue would push that over the edge. |
