Quick Question about E46 spare tire
pardon me if this is a dumb question, but do E46's come with full size spares? how about the M3?
|
yes they most certaintly do, and the e90s dont even have a spare :)
|
the e46 m3 has no spare. The e46 normal vareity you could get a full sized spare, of this I am certain.
And I am under the impression that the e90s don't have a spare, but I don't know, I haven't checked it out. |
i know for a fact about the e46, my bro owns one, and i test drove an e90, they dont have a spare tire b/c of the runflats

E46 M3's have the Fix a flat
E46 sedans have full size spares, if you get sport package theres a stagared size from front to rear, you get a front rim size for a spare E46 coupes dependant on model year have full size or dounuts E46 convertables have dounuts E90s no spare like said before due to run flats |
Just incase y'all were wondering the whole in the trunk for the spare can fit up to tire size 225. Anything bigger and she won't fit. I was barely able to fit in my 225/50-16 spare even then, it juts out of the opening a little.

I know I have a full size spare in my e46, I would have thought e46 m3s would to though, in the coupe at least.
|
We have 3 e46 M3 Coupes on the lot, I'm taking pictures tonight.....
because I set them up really sweet! :D I'll check the trunk. :thumbup |
I got robbed apparently, my '04 didn't come with one.
|
I just bought my wife an '01 325xi sport wagon and the spare was hiding under the rear floor, under a false floor that looked like where the spare should go, it kinda freaked me out. I'll have to post pics

E46 M3 had runflats -- no spare
Runflats were optional on some later models -- these have no spare full-size ves doughnut, I don't know :dunno |
