Weatherstripping Noise

My '03 330i makes a noise like a child's toy horn at 70mph. It's not too loud, just annoying. It comes from the front of the drivers window/door and goes away when I roll the window down. ( I don't know if the window is the culprit or the pressure change stops the door from squealing.) It is probably the weatherstripping but I wanted to know if anybody else had heard/fixed this.
Free beer to the right answer!

Mine gets wind noise at ~100 from passenger rear ...

But yours does sound like a weatherstripping issue

Yeah that does sound like the seal in the door could have come undone. Has it been driven in the rain? That will definitely tell you.

Take it to a DIY car wash and pressure wash around the window in question - that'll test the seal (and where it's leaking)

Bmw weather seals can get dry over time, causing the rubber seal to rub onto the window. Dont use wd-40 or a lubricant like that beucase your windows will get streaked. Get some paper towels and some window spray cleaner, the foam spray. I wouldnt try windex but if thats all you got, go with it.
Wet the towel, and clean off the seal that the window touches. Also spray sylicone wiped onto your door seals would help reduce the noise.

The window creak noise you hear is a known complaint on x5 rear tail gates and all early model x3 window seals, like yours.

Theres also a product that is supplyed by parts called "rubber care" made by wurth. They say on the back of the can that you can use it on all rubber products like seals and even your tires.
