To change the air mass meter is very easy. Your thermostat is a bit harder but if you think you can do it, its very easy.

Tell the dealer that yoru buy the part out from them and install it yourself and let them do the thermostat.

I forget exacatly what it looks like in your car but eather they give you the whole cylinder with the sensor inside or the give you the sensor, two T25 torx hold it in place.

Summary:

My car had a small cold start bug. It wouldn’t start right on cold starts after it had set for an hour or so.

So I first replaced all the injectors = didn't change anything.
Then I did a fuel system clean up = didn't change anything

So I took it to the BMW pros at the dealership.

They told me my car was giving an error code on my MHF circuit, co I bought a brand new MHF and changed it = didn't change anything.

I took it back to the dealership and they looked at car again. Turns out one of my injectors was leaking. (They had the car for little less than a week now because for the first 2-3 days the car was starting fine while they had it). Well, am picking it up tomorrow. The car has been starting fine since yesterday afternoon from what I heard from them. I told them they might as well give me a discount because of all the pain in the butt they've cause me.

SO, am getting the car detailed by them as we speak

Motor steam cleaned,
Carpet's shampooed,
Interior detail,
AND HAND WAX the exterior.

I Sooooo can't wait until I pick my baby up
