Stuff coming my way

Had the car looked at by BMW and belt looked to be in bad shape so did rotors.

SO I went ahead and called Ko Perf. (they owed me $384 on my AA software that I had never done).

So I picked up some "Victory Product" E46 UDP :woot http://www.blinkfile.com/966/zmxd.jpg
and some Zimmerman cross drilled rotors :yum http://www.blinkfile.com/967/e46pulleys_240x180.jpg

Also been talking to Habbie and I should have the followings coming to me soon..

Smoked corners,
Smoked side markers,
Smoked or Clear Non-LED tails,
6k HID bulbs to replace the factory 4.3k with,
Predator Chromium DDE's 6.5k,
and some matching fog light bulbs.

And have an appt for July the 27th to get 20% tint slapped on the car :redspotda

Oh, and I just had my oil change done at BMW (wanted to get the car looked at to see what was up with it - Otherwise I always do my oil changes). And later on today, dropping the car off at my tire place (the one I used to work at) to get balance and alignment done.

Any suggestions/comments/concerns? :dunno

But, any of you have 20% on your cars? I had 35% on the last one, and it just wasn't "that" dark. What do you guys think of 20% on a sedan?

celsdogg 07-21-2006 10:57 AM

yes. im concerned that i dont have a 330i like you. i suggest you donate yours to me ;)

jk. good stuff :D doing anything for rims?

Rooz 07-21-2006 11:03 AM

Not yet, buying the car put a nice hole in the wallet, don't have the cash to drop on the rims just yet.... give me a month or two maybe....

The darker the better, my friend.

mullethunter3 07-21-2006 02:13 PM

i have 20%, it rocks

RealBmw 02 07-21-2006 02:28 PM

I used to have 20 percent on mine and I really liked it. However, I started doing a lot of night canyon driving a few summers back so I took it off. Now I prefer the car without since it has much better night visibility. I do miss the privacy though.

I think if you're doing smoked up front, do it in the rear too, doing clears in the back leave the look half finished IMHO.

and uhh, your ride height needs fixed... like ... yesterday
an inch maybe? maybe an inch and a half?

RZZZZZZZ - try driving at night w/dark sunglasses, that'll tell you if you want 20%. Especially looking for your back up lights. As 02 mentioned it's nice until you do alot of night driving:shades

Well, even with the 35% I had to roll the windows down at night to see when I was backing up :dunno. What % do you have?

celsdogg 07-22-2006 11:49 AM

im gettin 35%. thats the limit in maryland. and i dont even think thats dark enough.

c1apton 07-22-2006 12:38 PM

Mine is 12% GLASS not film. I have Posterior Uveitus (sensitivity to light) and that is $1100 of glass. I have a perscript from my Dr and a Fed Safety permit to have it. (DOT/FMVSS #205) Have to have eyes checked and renew DOT permit every 2 years. The hazards of working in dark venues.:shades

Spieluhr 07-22-2006 02:41 PM

rooz, before you decide on your %, you should check to see what your state's limit is.
