Yesterday I took the 325i to the audio place to see if they could make the radio reception better, cause after I changed out headunits I could hardly tune into all the major stations around here. Yada yada, they fixed it.

I come home, park it. Dad goes to drive it the next morning, the windows won't work, the air turns on but isn't cold, the trunk won't open automaticly when you press the button, the blinkers don't work either.

What happened? It's like half the ECU died.

Fuses? maybe the shop pulled some and forgot to put them back??

The windows are backed by a circuit breaker on the center console in my car, up in front of the button for the passenger window

where did you go cuz i have the same problem with my headunit i wanna make sure i dont go to the same place if they didnt do it right

Lol both cars have been to the same shop extensively. They suck when it comes to working on BMW's. Although on my mustang this did a great job

what is this about a circuit breaker in the console? that sounds EXACTLY like the problem.

i said the windows don't work, i lied. the windows work but not from inside the car. if i put the key in and hold it in lock or unlock they do their automatic roll up/down feature.

so add it up, what all resides in the center console .. air, windows, lighting wires maybe? none of those work. ;\

no it wasn't fuses, just checked them.

Mine is a button that if popped up, the windows don't work until it's pushed back down. Makes a hard click when pushed

thats the same problem with my moms car, except hers didnt start also. It was the ecu, the battery just needed to be disconnected for an hr or 2 to reset the ecu then it was perfect again. She doesn't drive a BMW though.

o that button, never had to mess with that. i didnt think they would put that in newer models.

eep... i took my car in to get retinted 1-2 years ago... when i got it back... the radio shut off after 2 minutes of driving... took it back.
they said some of the electronics got a little wet and had to dry it... haha

i took it to the dealer, fixed itself on the way there.

dumb bmws. =P
