you do realize how hard it will be to make a black car go yellow without looking like it was crashed and repainted... you will have to paint the engine bay (pull the engine) all the door jams etc... its going to be a lot of work and money!! I would go with phoneix yellow on the e46, but that is just me.

Ehhh, if you are gonna repaint, might as well go with an exotic version of yellow.

Phoenix yellow is real tight. I thin kit is one of the most sought after colors for e46s m3s. I know that is what my sister wanted to get. I don't think they made any Dakar yellow e46s, so it will be obvious that your paint is custom (which can be good or bad).

If you order any bmw car with individual package (you can do it in the US if your salesdood is cool enough), then you can get ANY BMW color unless its.. something specific like how LeMans is an M5 only color.

Only pic I could find, but apparently theres been dakar e46 m3's for sale on ebay too.

i went for red and white in the end,,,and got my money back.......then i bought a GOLD bmw hehe

Apparently this guy went from black to yellow, and it looked time consuming.
