Car Accident Shut off switch help!
My uncle got in a slight car accident, the car wont start. Everythings fine accept the car cracks but no fuel. I think there is a shut off switch some place and he can’t find it. Anyone know? It’s a 1999, 328I anyone! Please email me asap, his stuck in the snow!! craftercs@gmail.com thanks soo much. |

You might need a new battery cable. Its a saftey option that when in an accicdent the battery cable disconnects from the battery. Or you could of just blown a fuel pump fuse.

I don't know of any factory installed shut off switch. No fuel sounds to me like a fuel pump power issue |

I forgot to mention before, was the accicdent major enough that the car was put into a body shop. If so Ive incountered many problems because of that. Such as a gound terminal was painted over and a ground put back on, causing no ground or a poor contact to whatever that gound is for. The body shop could of spliced or cut a wire leading to the fuel pump. Also what makes you think that you dont have fuel? Did you hook up a pressure gauge to the rail or what? Like I said before, always check your fuses first, then start thinging about bigger problems.

I'm confused on this one....Stuck in the snow... dead car... accident. Need more info. And cut off valve? I could be wrong here, but I don't think there are any in stock vehicles. Dough
