Brake question......

To remove the caliper bolt, what mm (allen key) is the caliper bolt, i cant remeber????

i think you're right, its the same on my e36....probably most all bimmers

Which caliper bolt is allen? The only things I can think of that have allen on the front are the wheel speed sensor and the rotor bolt.

i know my rears the caliper guide bolts are the 7mm allen hex.

Yea, the caliper guide bolts are allens, once you pry off the covers.

I could have sworn mine were Torx. The bolt that holds my rotor to the hub assembly is an allen. The caliper guide bolt is different than the rotor to hub assembly bolt.

Hmm . . maybe they're Torx on some, but I doubt it. All the photos I've ever seen use Allens, like the one below. Can't speak for my E36 as I have yet to change the pads.

Mine are different than that. Mine are torx on all 4 calipers.
