I installed angel eyes on my e36 and it was very simple. Granted it's be a bit different with an e46, most headlight upgrades take no more than 20 minutes if you have done it before, and no more than an hour or two if you have no clue what you're doing.

Where are you getting them? Any more details on it?

I am really interested in how to run the wiring. I also wanted to know where to best tap the power from. I kinda would want it to be on when the ignition is on.

I replaced my parking lights with my angel eyes, so I can just turn them on or off whenever I want...

Where are you getting them?

I was looking at getting them from ebay (maxspeed motorsports) for $99 + shipping. Looks pretty good.

Hum, my recommendation is pay a little more and buy a quality kit from Umnitza (a very well known bmw aftermarket lighting company... many of us on here, including me, have bought from them).

There's a link to the same type of product I believe for your car, and I'm sure it'd be far better quality than the ebay version.

Thanks for the advise. They have a "online instruction_linked install resource section". Do you know how to get to it?

Komodo is right on with his recomendation. If you ever want to buy any type of lighting, go to Umnitza. Great selection, and awesome customer support (literally email you back in minutes).

I believe they send you the username/password for the PDF after you buy it. They also have great support if you can't figure it out.

For example if you buy it from ebay and can't get it working, you're on your own.. but with Umnitza they'll work with you until it's working. (phone or email)

i think i will take your guys advise and get it from there when I decide to buy it. I just wanted to do a professional job at it so any pictures or wiring diagrams would help me when it finally comes down to installing the kit.

If you have basic electrical knowledge, you should be fine. Headlights aren't too complicated. And any questions you have along they way, we can try to help you out on UB.

And let me be the first to say welcome to United Bimmer.

Hope you stick around after you get this sorted out.
