330 not starting....
ok so we ggot a steep driveway, and the 330 wont start if its faced down hill. it makes a sound slike the started went out or something. it clicks, the lights flash as if its starting and then nothing. no turn over or anthing. weird thing is if i put the car on the same driveway faceing upwards(fron of car is at top of grade) then it doesnt do it. The symptoms go away as sonn as u put the car on flat land and giv it five minutes. any ideas?

we also have an extrmely steep driveway, it did something similar, first of all, our battery was practically dead, but it only happened once, but on the driveway, u come to start it, it just whines, roll down the hill and on the road, u can start it fine, it sounded like the starter was slipping b/c every once in a while it would catch and the car would ALMOST turn on but not really

It's the battery.
When the lights flash...and it goes click, click, click. It's the battery.

Cheapest way to get a fix, first test your battery, you dont need to replace it if its not bad. 2nd if its bad, replace it with a BMW OEM battery. I believe for you car it goes for 100-150$.

Could be something to do with the fluids in the battery. Instead of turning the car around, turn the battery around or tilt it to level, and see if it starts then?

it was a BMW battery. I guess the battery has a huge voltage(..or what ever they measure it in) so no other companies make them that strong. we called 5 places before bmw.
