Coolant Question

Anyone knows how much an '01 325 holds?

Gonna do a flush on my car this coming weekend and need to know if one jug of the BMW coolant and like.. a gallon of distilled water is enough?

A gallon of the concentrated BMW fluid is plenty enouhg since you have to make it a 50/50 mix your have 2 gallons.

I didn't flush out the core, but I drained most of it out from one of the plugs at the bottom. It only used up about one gallon, and now I have a 50/50 mix left over that's also a gallon.

Just thought I'd give a heads up for anyone who was curious.

Also, changed the brake fluid from factory crap to ATE superblue. Stops on a dime now. MUCH better feel.

The BMW factory coolant is the best thing you can use, better than whatever is at autozone. Keep the remainder now that summer is coming in.

ahahha, thanks. I had a friend help of course.

But yes, I did get the blue stuff from BMW. Too bad I got ripped off like a mojo. $37.00 for a gallon from MoritzBMW. If only the other dealerships weren't an hour+ away. I caved and got gouged.
