I'm not sure what that stuff is, my Dad's e46 had that too, i'm not sure if its stuff for the Computer system or DSC or what

lol you people are funny. That is your abs control moduel with brake lines comming from it. You know when you slam on your brakes and you get that hard vibration and the tires do little squeels instead of totally lock up. That moduel controls your brakes so you dont go into a skid.

Of which I ain't got one, but hey, it could just be that since my E46 was the initial line, it could be unique having nothing there at all. Built October (i think), 1998.
